The TAFE Managers Mentor Program was launched at the AGM on19 June 2008. It is
envisaged that the Mentor Program will build up with the support from TAFE NSW Manager
Institute Representatives and interested mentees.
Step one - will be for Members of the Association to nominate as Mentors for 2008 by
completing the Mentor's Nomination Form by 23 July.
Step two - The Association will provide a list of Mentors who have offered to
provide their Mentor's services starting from 28 July 2008.
Step three - Interested Mentees will complete a Mentee Program Request Form, providing
a brief description of the reason(s) for seeking support from a TAFE Manager's Mentor.
These expressions of interest will be submitted to the TAFE Managers Association
starting from 28 July. Advice will be provided to enable Mentees to directly contact
listed Mentors or for your Institute Representative to support you in being placed with a
suitable available Mentor.
The opportunity for Mentees to be placed in contact with Mentors will close on 19
September 2008.
The outcomes of the Mentor Program will be celebrated at an end of year function hosted
by the Association.
